Breakfast for dinner! Pancakes, bacon and some orange juice. The pancakes came out huge so I was not able to finish them all. It's sad really. And though only one is pictured, I had more bacon. It's just really hard not to eat it as soon as it's done frying. I made Kirk's pancakes with pineapple in them. They came out a little soggy, so next time the pineapple will go on top, after the cooking. I prefer my pancakes straight up so I can smother them in maple syrup and cinnamon. Real maple syrup is the best, but we had none of that, so I had to settle for the fake stuff. If only I had family who lived in Upstate New York who made their own syrup. Now that would be something. Hey, wait a minute, I DO have family in Upstate New York who make their own syrup. Maybe we could set up some sort of exchange; some crocheted hats for syrup. I could be on to something. I'll send a note: will crochet for syrup.
